Idea Bank: A Wealth of Content Marketing Solutions
Analytics-Driven, Performance-Proven Results
Skip to contentThe Idea Bank was founded by Larry Sivitz, one of the most prolific writers, digital strategists, creative directors and SEM experts in the fields of online marketing, digital advertising, UI/UX/CX and community engagement.
His classic “milk mustache” campaign has been credited as one of the most iconic advertising campaigns of all time. It was conceived under the original title “Milk: It’ll Grow on You!” and presented in the Carson-Roberts Advertising Workshop where it eventually found its way to Bozell/K&E.
Another record-smashing highlight was the writing, scripting, direct marketing and positioning — from product naming and taglines to packaging, direct mail, retail advertising, radio and video — for the Sonicare dental hygiene system, regarded as the fastest-growing product in health care marketing history.
His work for Walt Disney Productions at the Disney Burbank Studios included the launch of Disney Home Video and the debut of The Disney Channel.
His work in corporate communications has featured campaigns for the Rockwell International Space Shuttle, and the campaign “Tomorrow is taking shape at a company called TRW.” He was recognized with a Clio, One Club and Belding award while a creative director for J. Walter Thompson.
After being recruited to Seattle as Vice President Creative Services for a consortium of five agencies that banded together as The Marketing Center, Larry spearheaded advertising and databased marketing campaigns for Seafirst Bank/Bank of America, Princess Cruises and Tours, Weyerhaeuser paper packaging, AAA (where he had coined the acclaimed campaign slogan, “Drive Safely & Carry a Big Club”) among other general advertising, direct marketing and matrix marketing programs.
Founding the inbound content marketing firm, Idea Bank, Larry produced the flagship e-commerce site for Sierra Online, the historic leader in computer gaming software, among the first commercial sites online to deploy the use of Cookies for customer segmentation. He built on this customer personalization strategy when producing the multinational, e-commerce site for MFORMA / Hands-On Mobile using the direct object model (DOM) to create persistent, cross-domain personalization and customized user experiences by country of origin, language, mobile carrier and mobile device.
Larry also produced the largest single online chat event in Internet history for Yahoo! when he originated and then directed the nationwide, online chat event with the sensational brother’s-band known as Hanson.
Larry was asked to join the Microsoft advisory committee for the launch of the Bing search engine and consulted with Google on integrating a “trusted feed” of stock imagery and video from client Corbis Images for several Google products.
The Idea Bank has led online product introductions for the T-Mobile (Sidekick), Photodisc stock image libraries, Rheem (tankless water heaters), Pangenex genomics identification, and the national rollout for Rainier Cold Draft Beer and Jet City Ale. The agency earned a “Best Practices” award from the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) for innovation in online product merchandising using “paid inclusion” Website content in XML.
Practicing what he preaches, Larry also publishes his own hyper-local directory and search engine, part of the online Internet magazine covering the Puget Sound region that is known as Seattle24x7. The hundreds of articles that appear on Seattle24x7, as well as the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) award for his cover story “Who’s Building Our Dot.Com Empire?” for Seattle magazine, are testament to Larry’s sizeable writing, research and journalistic talents and his subject matter expertise across the full spectrum of leading-edge online marketing, marketing automation and AI/AR/VR software advances.
